To be a centre for creative activity in Brantford and surrounding communities that inspires, stimulates and encourages imagination and artistic growth.
Our Mission
The Brantford Arts Block aims to enhance the public’s understanding of the importance of arts, culture and creative thinking by:
· fostering a sense of pride in our unique artistic and cultural similarities and differences;
· encouraging experimentation, exploration, and artistic growth among artists and non-artists of every age and skill level;
· engaging with local community groups to encourage meaningful artistic collaboration;
· embracing all forms of art and artistic expression; and,
· stimulating creative expression in all who practice, appreciate of have yet to discover the arts.
Our Objects
Our charitable objects are to:
· educate and increase the public's understanding and appreciation of the arts;
· provide instruction on topics related to the performing and visual arts;
· produce performing arts festivals for the purposes of educating and advancing the public's understanding and appreciation of performing arts; and,
· educate and nurture artists through participation in festivals and related workshops.
