There are three types of exhibitions that we offer:

  1. Regular Exhibitions – there are three gallery walls (each approx. 22’ long) and one Sculptural/Installation area in the Brantford Arts Block’s art gallery that are used for the Regular Exhibitions. These exhibitions generally last for 6 weeks and would feature four different artists (three on the wall spaces and one in the Sculptural/Installation area).
  2. Solo Exhibitions – from time to time the Brantford Arts Block does award artists the opportunity to have a solo show. These exhibitions are generally focused around a specific issue, idea, or vision. Artists who are rewarded solo exhibitions are solely responsible (limited support will be provided by the Brantford Arts Block) for organizing their own opening reception, marketing and supplementary events (i.e. artists talks).
  3. Group Exhibitions – occasionally the Brantford Arts Block will organize group shows that consist of one or two pieces of art from a variety of local artists; all of which would be based around a central topic, theme or idea.

Please indicate which type of exhibition you would like to submit your work towards.  You may submit to more than one exhibition type at a time.

Our community arts space is open, free to the public:
Tuesday through Saturday from 12-6pm

We are also open extended hours during various special events, although from time to time we may charge an admission fee for these events.
